Hello all, editor-in-chief here, checking in with a little bit of business that I consider important and would like to make the occasion of with a small post just outlining the info.
If you haven’t heard, I am transgender! Yay! It is something that’s been going on in the background for a little while, and now I am comfortable enough to make it official. I’ve obviously written a lot of pieces here, hosted many podcasts, and all under the name of Alex, and I can’t just go back and undo all of those things. I can’t un-introduce myself as Alex over 700+ podcasts, so they will just continue to exist as is, and that is totally okay. From here on out, I am Auri, and my pronouns are she/her, and if you want to know more about my journey, I recorded a little show with Brian Jackson talking about it!

I will continue to be around on whatever social media platform you so desire, now as AuriMeansWind, and will continue my work here, potentially updating some older things I’ve written to reflect my new identity.
