Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon
This is the poster child of what I want game developers to do with their games after their main story is done. Far Cry 3 was one of the best games to have come out in 2012 and Blood Dragon just takes all the best parts from that game (other then Vaas) and covers it with neon lights, cyber animals, 80’s references, and scanlines. I’m hoping this trend will catch on with other games so that develops can become more inventive with their games without taking that much of a risk. Was a total blast to play.

Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut
I really had no idea what to expect when Nabeshin and I started our GameOrDie for Deadly Premonition. It was so out of my mind since it originally came out last year that when it came up again, everything that I had heard about it and surrounding it had just slipped my mind.
Having started playing it, and now having gotten really into it, I can say that this game is really one in a million. It’s a game that seems like it was made in a vacuum, and that vacuum is the year 2001: before good camera controls, before moving and shooting, and before textures had to look good, Deadly Premonition is something that seems like it was propelled into the future. I really love it, not only for what it is, which is batshit insane, but for the way it seems to be an unintentional, but still heartfelt, homage to the past, and shows how far games have come.
The story has me hooked and I am definitely going to see this to the end, so come and join Nabeshin and I in our livestreams of Deadly Premonition: GameOrDie!

Poker Night 2
This second instalment of the Poker Night series brings a new set of characters to the inventory. We have Brock Sampson, Clap Trap, Ashe, Sam, and Gladys in the mix. This all-star cast made me laugh so hard when playing Poker Night 2; the amount of references to current video game and move culture is fantastic.
The only problem that I have with the game is that the jokes can be recycled often when you are doing multiple Poker tournaments. This is balanced out though with cool unlockables that you can get for the Inventory with customizable cards, tables and themes. Overall Poker Night 2 is a well written riot of a poker game and will keep me entertained for hours to come.
